I'm not even sure where "Meep" came from. Friends like to use it to express apathy or otherwise respond to an awkward inquiry/situation with a neutral phrase, encroaching on the territory of cuteness. Perhaps it was an anime thing to begin with; I have no idea. Nor with "meh" as an adjective - it seems to serve a similar purpose, but without the cute implications.

Anyway, I'm going to try harder to work on realistic coloring this summer. I've inviegled myself into some form of realism at last, what with the obsession of this past year and a half, and am trying to build on that. Honest-to-goodness Japanese Anime style isn't my cup of tea, not because I don't like it but because I've been trying for six years and haven't improved in the last four. At least, not in conveying the animeness of people...I fail so hard when I try to draw huge eyes.
